Estate Planning Information

If you are thinking about leaving any assets to EAA 292 in your Estate as several late members of the chapter have done, Steve Heinrich, a long-time chapter member who is an Estate Attorney has provided the following information as language he suggests could be used by your lawyer as a starting point for including those wishes in your plan.

With the continuing development of the Chapter with Youth programs, Adult Flight Training with the Simulators, and the planned expansion of the Clubhouse and Shop, your donations would help keep the dream alive for those that follow us.

As the disclaimer at the end says, this is not legal advice. Consult your own attorney for what is appropriate for your situation.

NOTE: The above is not intended to be legal advice, nor would it be effective to achieve all goals that a person who intends to benefit Chapter 292 might have in an estate planning situation. The above is merely a general outline of possible language that may be useful for an estate planner to consider in some situations in Oregon. Each individual situation is different, different issues or situations can render the above inappropriate or irrelevant in an individual situation, and different circumstances can bring different factors and different legal doctrines into play. Legal doctrines and rules also change from time to time, sometimes unpredictably, as new case law, administrative rules, and statutes come into play. The advice of a skilled estate planning attorney is necessary to fully understand an individual situation, to explore the possibilities available, and to work toward the best possible solution in any given situation. The above should not be considered legal advice, nor should the above be taken as a statement of the only time that one might benefit from consulting a legal or other professional.
